Kate is Chief of Staff and leads Alt21’s European entity, driving strategic execution across the business. She brings over eight years of experience in the FX industry, spanning both scale-ups and multinational brokers. As a key extension of the CEO, she aligns C-suite priorities, strengthens cross-functional communication, and builds the operational framework to support growth at scale.

Toby leads Alt21’s finance function with deep expertise across treasury, risk, and regulatory governance in complex, regulated financial institutions. He was previously CFO at Sucden UK, where he served on the board with responsibility for financial strategy, capital and liquidity management, and oversight of market, credit, and operational risk frameworks. At Alt21, his focus is building a robust financial and risk framework, strengthening regulatory foundations, and preparing the company for growth at scale.

Antony is SVP of Operations at ALT21, responsible for trade operations, liquidity relationships and onboarding across the platform. He brings over 15 years’ experience in electronic FX, including hands-on work with institutional eFX platforms across settlements, middle-office and front-office coverage, most recently as Head of Liquidity at a leading prime-of-prime broker.

Chris has nearly two decades’ experience in the FX industry. He previously spent 13 years scaling a UK foreign exchange firm from inception through to listing on London’s AIM market, and onwards into new markets across Europe, the Middle East and Australia. Chris combines deep market expertise with a hands-on approach to managing currency risk for clients and partners.

Jak heads up the Product and Design team, shaping the product strategy and roadmap behind Alt21’s platform. His product career spans FinTech and SaaS, with previous roles at Funding Circle and Preqin (acquired by BlackRock). Earlier in his career, Jak was a management consultant to the asset and wealth management industry, where he built strong domain knowledge in financial services across the UK and Europe.

Lee is an accomplished Global HR Director with over 20 years’ experience leading people strategy across international markets. He ensures compliance with local employment laws, drives talent, culture and performance, and aligns HR with business goals. Lee is a Fellow of the CIPD and winner of the prestigious HRO Today’s HR Director of the Year award for 2025.

Nikki is Chief Compliance Officer and MLRO at Alt21, where she leads compliance, financial crime and counter terrorist financing oversight for the firm’s UK regulatory obligations. She brings extensive experience from senior roles in major banking institutions, with deep expertise in compliance, regulatory frameworks, risk management, AML, fraud prevention and compliance monitoring.

India Mills leads Strategic Clients at Alt21 across sport, entertainment and creative industries. With 15+ years in FX, she spent nearly a decade at Argentex, where she was Head of Sport & Entertainment and previously served as principal representative for its Dubai office and Middle East operations.

She is known for delivering a premium, highly personalised client experience and building bespoke strategies that combine human insight with smart infrastructure.

Liam leads marketing at Alt21, building the marketing engine for Alt21’s growth across direct, partner and platform channels. He spent the previous six years at Cognism, where he helped scale the business from $5m to over $80m ARR bringing deep experience in scaling marketing functions in B2B SaaS and tech businesses.

Rafael leads Alt21’s technology department, setting the technical vision and driving the engineering teams behind it. With nearly two decades of experience spanning Telco and FinTech, he has built and led high-performing teams delivering complex, large-scale technology initiatives. Prior to Alt21, Rafael held technology roles at Vodafone Group, working across multiple operating companies including the UK, Portugal, Spain, Ireland and Germany. Rafael bridges the rigour of large-scale enterprise technology with the pace and ambition of a high-growth fintech.

Prit set the long-term vision and strategy of building the world’s leading alternative to a bank for mid-market businesses and high-net worth individuals. He has over 20 years’ experience in electronic trading, building digital hedging platforms, and experience fundraising through various stages of growth. 

Andy is one of the leading global fintech investors, an Industry Partner at Motive Partners, and Chairman of Wilshire. He has previously held senior roles in private and growth equity at leading firms like BlackRock and Motive Partners.

Andy brings deep experience in scaling global fintech businesses and supporting management teams to secure strategic financing to capture long-term, asymmetric growth opportunities.

Giles was the founder of Brandwatch, a global leader in digital consumer intelligence. He grew the company from 0 to $100m in revenue, and led it through a successful exit for $450 million in 2021. Giles brings proven experience in scaling disruptive digital platforms, and in using data to drive business growth in competitive markets.

Richard made the most lasting impact on our mission. As a serial entrepreneur, and more recently as Chairman of Alt21. He previously acquired, turned around, and scaled Global Shares through to it’s eventual acquisition by JPMorgan in 2022 in one of Ireland’s largest fintech exits – as Richard used to say “the parallels between Alt21 and Global Shares are astonishing.” Richard supported Alt21 through his strong mentorship of the CEO, and played a key role in supporting Alt21’s growth to date.

Eoghan is a former Senior Partner at KPMG who spent nearly 30 years advising growing businesses across the EU and UK. He serves as the President of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, where he get’s to combine his passion for supporting Irish businesses to expand internationally with Alt21’s mission.

John is the former Chief Enterprise Architect at Temenos who built a long-standing career designing enterprise-grade architecture, and solutions for the world’s leading financial institutions to operate at scale. At Alt21, John has helped move the platform beyond front-end functionality towards a robust, exception-based infrastructure, with straight-through processing at its core.

Ann is a seasoned Global Audit, Risk, Corporate Governance, and Compliance professional with over 40 years experience in the world’s leading financial services institutions. In her last executive role she was CEO of Vanguard Group (Ireland) Ltd, where she led group corporate governance and developed an appreciation for the superb ecosystem supporting financial services in Ireland.

Rob was one of the early-stage pioneers of electronic trading, and as CTO he enabled GETCO to at one point, become the highest volume trading firm in the world.
